I uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers, the software, etc. But then it stopped working and I couldn't figure out why. But I had to use its software to turn the bluetooth function on and off and connect devices (as opposed to using system settings to access the same processes). Following the directions that are included on the disk makes you question your own sanity, but nonetheless, it sort of worked. I plugged it in, inserted the CD that came with it, and installed the software. (The things we do in the days of a global pandemic.) This was a cheap solution for bluetooth. I recently built a PC from spare parts at home when my main desktop finally died.
